“AMERICA’S Got Talent” winner Bianca Ryan, the 12-year-old Philadelphian with the big, big voice – has signed an album deal with the Simon Cowell imprint (fittingly named SYCO) at Columbia Records.
“Bianca Ryan is potentially one of the best singers I have ever heard in my life,” Cowell said recently.
Bianca’s debut, due Nov. 14, will include her million-dollar-winning cover of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from “Dreamgirls.”
Other songs will be “Pray for a Better Day,” by David Foster and Kara DioGuardi; “I Wish That,” written by hit-maker Diane Warren, and “Why Can’t It Be Christmas Everyday?” by Walter Afanasieff and Jay Landers. Popular covers will include Bette Midler’s “The Rose,” the Debby Boone chestnut “You Light Up My Life,” and R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly.”
This young girl is naturally soulful. When she appeared on “America’s Got Talent”, that’s what everybody saw, that’s what everyone across the nation fell in love with. The only song on her debut album where even a hint of that soulful sound came through is “Pray For A Better Day”. Even the Jennifer Holiday song that she capture America’s heart with on A.G.T., is but a poor white-bread version of what she as already shown, she is capable of delivering. You are arranging her like she’s Josh, or Clay, or Andrea… she’s not them! I hope you get it right on her sophomore album.
I absolutely love Bianca’s voice and I disagree with Frank about her debut album. I found the songs to be very good. I love Pray for a Better Day… this should have been made into a video and I do like the version of And Im telling you that sounds like the Jennifer Holiday arrangement.I have so many copies of the other version it was nice to her a more jazzy approach.I also like Awake and I wish that. The one thing I like about the CD is that there is something for everyone. There are some people that love the cover songs… I will admit that I never liked the Rose or I believe Ican fly. However, Bianca has won me over even with songs I never liked.Putting out an album for Bianca is tough because of the diversity of her fans range for kids to Grand Parents. I just wanted to say I think you did a great job on the debut album and also put in the word to make pray for a better day into a video. You guys should use someone from CMT. They do the best family music videos. One other thing Why cant it be Christmas Everyday absolutely rocks. Its already at #2 in Southern California. Thanks again.
You are so amazing, what a power of a voice.

We just learned that Sony Records and David Foster are no longer involved with Bianca Ryan’s career and management. Then we went to youtube and watched again as Mr. Foster and Simon Cowell gushed about how “we have to take care of this great talent.”
What happened?
We have been setting here, cash in hand, waiting for her second album; full of new songs by the greatest songwriters, displaying her unmatchable talent, in the opinion of these two California senior citizens. We had hoped you, Mr. Foster would be more involved in her career development.
You missed this one, Simon.
