According to OSCAR, Renee Olstead will perform at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Governors Ball. Olstead will sing with the Gregg Field Orchestra at the gala event attended by Oscar® winners and nominees, which will immediately follow the 77th Academy Awards® ceremony on Sunday, February 27.
Olstead’s self-titled debut album, released in 2004, features a collection of standards like “Sentimental Journey,” “Someone To Watch Over Me” and “What a Difference a Day Makes.”
In addition to singing, the 15-year-old Olstead enjoys a successful film career. She has appeared in “End of Days,” “The Insider” and “13 Going on 30.” Olstead also co-stars in the CBS television comedy “Still Standing.”
The Gregg Field Orchestra will mark its fifth performance at this year’s Governors Ball. Noted musician Gregg Field heads a topnotch group of 16 musicians from the film and television industry.
The Governors Ball will be held in the Governors Ballroom on the top level of the Hollywood & Highland® complex immediately following the 77th Academy Awards presentation on Sunday, February 27.
