The stars were out in Beverly Hills on Saturday, Oct. 2, for the inaugural Noche de Ninos Gala, a star-studded benefit for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles to honor Jennifer Lopez.
Noche de Ninos was co-chaired by MGM Chairman and CEO Alex Yemenidjian and child advocate Cheryl Saban. Giselle Fernandez-Farrand was the organizing chair and executive producer. David Foster and Humberto Gatica were the music directors.
George Lopez was the master of ceremonies. Featured entertainment included Carlos Baute, Joaquin Cortes, Alejandro Sanz and Marc Anthony. Jennifer Lopez received the Children’s Humanitarian Award for her support of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and its children.
Noche de Ninos was to benefit the Campaign for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, which will raise $500 million for new facilities, including a New Hospital building, as well as for endowment, program, and annual support.

According to MTV.com “American Idol” third-season finalist John Stevens is recording with David Foster for a Valentine’s Day release on Maverick Records, a Warner affiliate.
Recently David has travelled to various communities in British Columbia to meet some of the families the David Foster Foundation has assisted over the years. He also had a phone interview with Bill Good of canadian CKNW Radio, he speaks about the Foundation and some projects for the future.

“Electric New Paper”, an e-magazine from Singapore, has published an interview with singer Diana DeGarmo. We already known about a collaboration with David Foster on her first due to be released album but in this article she tells she has two favourite tracks now: ‘One is a duet with David Foster and another is a collaboration with (songwriter) John Shanks.’
She added: ‘It’ll be radio-based and it’ll be a fun album.’
