“Beautiful Boy” is Celine’s first single

The cover of John Lennon’s “Beautiful Boy” will be the single from Celine Dion‘s upcoming Epic album, “Miracle,” produced by David Foster, a collaboration with famed child photographer Ann Geddes. Due Oct. 12, the disc will be packaged with a 180-page coffee table book, as a boxed set and as a single CD.

Dion will publicize the project with appearances on “Oprah,” “Regis & Kelly,” “The View” and “Access Hollywood.”

Celine’s “Miracle” to be released October 12

Celine Dion and acclaimed Australian photographer Anne Geddes have teamed for the music/photo book project “Miracle.” The release, which honors “the unique and steadfast bond between mother and child,” will arrive Oct. 12 via Epic and Andrews McMeel Publishing and is produced by David Foster.

“Miracle” will be available as a book/CD/DVD as well as a stand-alone audio disc. The set sports several new Dion tracks, including the title cut, “Sleep Tight,” “My Precious One,” “A Mother’s Prayer,” “Baby Close Your Eyes” and “Come to Me.” Also included are such previously released songs as “In Some Small Way,” “Brahms’ Lullaby” and Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.”
Beyond the CD and song lyrics, “Miracle” will include a behind-the-scenes DVD with a music video for the title song.

David’s first solo album “The Best of Me” re-released

Japanese label WestWood Records has recently released a digitally remastered version of David’s first solo album, “The Best Of Me”. The album was released for the first time in 1983 and contains several instrumental tracks that, in the next future, turned into huge hits. This 2004 release contains also “Love at Second Sight”, a sweet ballad performed by David on vocals with singer Vicki Moss. Here’s the tracklist:

Dara Sedaka’s “I’m Your Girlfriend” released digital remastered

Japanese label WestWood Records has released the 1982 album “I’m your girlfriend” by Dara Sedaka. The album, never released on cd before, was produced and played by David Foster with great musicians Michael Landau, Steve Lukather, Jerry Hey and Steve George and Richard Page on backing vocals.
